Educational interpreting is emerging as the next frontier within interpreting. It will soon have its own certification program(s). ILS has partnered with school systems since 2003. ILS’s linguists are experienced working with Head Start, which was created in 1965, all the way through state colleges. ILS is adept at working with the teacher team to ensure parents feel empowered and students are properly supported to drive the desired educational outcomes.
