The world of hospital and healthcare interpreting is extremely broad and varied, requiring deep acumen across numerous disciplines. ILS ensures its interpreters are properly screened and trained to effectively fulfill their role within the care team. Our interpreters are Qualified Interpreters as defined in 45 CFR Part 92 Nondiscrimination in Health Programs and Activities Final Rule, which implemented Section 1557 of the ACA and took effect July 18, 2016 in addition to having a Level 2 background check.
